Just in time for March Break 2013, CAA is offering 20% off Disney on Ice performance tickets at the Rogers Centre. In addition, they have reduced admission Cineplex Odeon movie tickets available as well.
Costco Wholesale members enjoy similarly discounted Cineplex Odeon tickets, which can be bought in store or on-line. The multi-attraction Toronto City Pass is available at CAA. Costco also offers the Toronto City Pass at a reduced price. This pass allows you to take in T.O. like a tourist without paying full price. Attractions Ontario offers moneysaving coupons and discounts to featured Ontario attractions. To receive the savings, you must be able to print off the e-coupons located on the site and present them at time of admission. E-coupons must be printed front and back and not cut down in any way, in order to be valid.
Professional association, union or federation members, students and government employees are often eligible for savings and discounts. For example, OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) members, receive discounts or free admission to many top attractions. Make sure to check venue requirements ahead of time, as some specify tickets be pre-purchased and printed from home. In addition, always have valid membership cards or applicable identification with you to claim any discounts. Check with your specific association’s website to discover what attraction promotions or local business partnerships could benefit you. And if you’ve become a Canadian citizen in the last year you may be eligible for a Cultural Access Pass, which is valid at a variety of cultural institutions.
An old-fashioned phone call can also be effective. Personally contacting your destination of choice in advance, can sometimes alert you to special promotions or events not listed on their website.
